For purely enzymatic, gentle peeling, lather the balm in the palms of the hands with warm water until the sugar crystals have dissolved. Massage into the face and rinse off. For more intensive peeling, apply the balm directly to the face and massage in for enzymatic, mechanical exfoliation. Rinse with water. For an intensive peeling effect, apply to the dried face, neck, and décolleté after cleansing, preferably with the DOCTOR BABOR Refining Cleansing Oil Balm, and lather in circular motions for 1-2 minutes. Avoid the eye area. Moisten fingertips with water and massage the peeling for 3 to 5 more minutes. Re-moisten the fingers frequently so that the exfoliating particles dissolve completely. Finally, rinse off thoroughly. For a gentle, purely enzymatic peeling, later the balm in the palm of the hand adding warm water until the crystals have dissolved.
