Product description This deep-cleansing formula with 10% Kaolin Postbiotic Complex cleanses the skin intensively and very gently at the same time, to maintain the balance of the skin flora. The perfectly complementary combination of white clay, tree bark extract and biotechnologically derived, fermented postbiotics not only ensures deep pore cleansing and removal of water-soluble make-up, but also strengthens the skin's barrier function and resistance. Used as a mask, the skin is freed from excess sebum and appears instantly clarified, mattified and refined.

100% vegan and free from silicones, parabens, mineral oils, PEGs, microplastics and other unnecessary ingredients, the Clay Multi-Cleanser was developed and perfected by BABOR experts in the company's own laboratories in Aachen, Germany, according to BABOR's ambitious guidelines for “clean” formulas. Made in Germany is a seal of quality that stands for this product and the entire company.

The multifunctional formula with 95% naturally derived ingredients provides a thorough pH-balanced skin-friendly cleansing and mask in one, making it ideal for all skin types. The sebum-binding formula is particularly recommended for combination skin. Main active ingredients At the heart of every MICROBIOMIC formulation are postbiotic enzymes.
In order to support the multitude and diversity of the skin microbiome, postbiotics obtained from probiotic bacteria using biotechnological methods are used. These are able to increase the levels of proteins and enzymes that are important for skin quality and to accelerate skin renewal. This allows them to influence key features of the skin aging process and the skin's ability to adapt to a constantly changing environment.
To counteract skin dehydration, postbiotics derived from controlled biofermented yeast extract stimulate the synthesis of lipids in the epidermis, thereby improving the skin's barrier function and strengthening its defenses. In doing so, they restore the skin's balance and help break the vicious cycle of skin dryness and imbalance of the skin flora without harming the skin flora.

A sustainably sourced red maple bark extract, native to the boreal forests of Canada, perfectly complements the active ingredient concept. It has long been valued in traditional medicine as a potent antioxidant. Rich in highly bioactive polypheols, the extract protects against oxidative stress and prevents the first signs of skin aging.

Kaolin – also known as white clay – has played an important role in skin care, particularly in Asia, for centuries. As a highly absorbent ingredient, it helps to visibly reduce oiliness and combat unwanted shine by absorbing excess sebum on the skin's surface, as well as cleansing and removing impurities from skin types prone to acne. This minimizes blemishes and pores and mattifies the skin overall. Secondary active ingredients Glycerin has moisturizing properties that make the skin look smoother and softer. The intensive and lasting hydration of the skin reduces dryness and fine lines and gives the complexion an immediately revitalized and plumper appearance. At the same time, a protective barrier is formed on the skin's surface to protect it from external influences and reduce moisture loss from the skin.

Valuable sunflower and grape seed oils leave the skin looking young and healthy thanks to their high content of powerful antioxidants. The high content of linoleic acid also has a regulating effect and ensures better moisture absorption and retention in the skin. Effect With its deep cleansing and absorbing properties, the Clay Multi-Cleanser ensures optimally cleansed skin without unbalancing the skin's microbiome. It supports the reduction of skin impurities and excess sebum and thus ensures visibly balanced skin that is perfectly prepared for subsequent skin care. Benefit The silky-soft formula leaves the skin perfectly clarified, radiant and refined, as well as feeling relaxed and deeply cleansed. Pore size is minimized and the complexion is mattified and visibly balanced. How To Use As a daily cleanser: Apply thoroughly to dry skin on face, neck and décolleté. Moisten fingertips with cool water and work into cleanser. Finally, rinse off with plenty of water.
As a cleansing mask: Apply a thin, even layer 2-3 times a week to cleansed skin. Leave the mask to dry for approx. 10 minutes, then rinse off with plenty of warm water.
